Stir-fry plum sauce

Discover plums in a new way! This sauce makes for a perfect veggie stir-fry, a dip for spring rolls or even a tofu marinade.

  • 10 plums (Quetsch)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 knob of ginger (1 cm)
  • 2 tblsp soya sauce
  • 1 tsp rice wine vinegar (optional)
  • Fresh chilli pepper (optional)

  1. Heat the sesame oil in a saucepan and sauté the garlic, ginger and chilli.
  2. Meanwhile, clean the plums and cut them into small pieces.
  3. Add the plums and soya sauce to the saucepan and cook for 20 minutes. Stir frequently.
  4. Blend the sauce before serving. If needed, thin out with water and season with rice wine vinegar.
